The VARIOflex abutment addresses a variety of clinical requirements offering flexibility in the choice and design of dental restorations.
The VARIOflex abutment can be used both for screw-retained and cement-retained restorations. Thanks to the slim and solid design, this abutment is suitable for both posterior and esthetically challenging anterior situtaions.
The CAD/CAMabutments can be adjusted to the clinical situation and the material-specific requirements. The CAD library offers a selection of various cylinder heights with just one abutment in the digital production process. The abutments have been developed especially for restorations made of plastic, pressed ceramics, and zirconium oxide. They provide the best possible support for long and tall superstructures, as well as for deeply placed implants.
CAD libraries are available for the VARIOflex abutment. Detailed information can be found in the corresponding instructions for use.
The Titanium Base for CAD/CAM Solutions makes it possible to create individually manufactured abutments. The Titanium Base allows for digital CAD/CAM fabrication.
The Titanium Base data files can be downloaded by your laboratory from the CAD/CAM library on the Thommen website and are thus available to all users of an open-source CAD/CAM system. The 3D data for the Thommen Titanium Base for CAD/CAM are also already integrated into the libraries of various CAD/CAM manufacturers.
The Milling Abutment for CAD/CAM type II makes it possible to create individually manufactured abutments.
The milled abutment for CAD/CAM type II is machined in the Original Medentika® PreFace Abutment Holder in a suitable milling system. PreFace Abutment Holders can be ordered directly from the milling machine manufacturer. You can also obtain information on the use of the Medentika® PreFace Abutment Holder from your milling machine manufacturer.
VARIO abutments are used for the fabrication of occlusal screw-retained restorations. Restorative options include single crowns, custom abutments, and multi-unit bridge restorations.
They consist of a nonoxidizing cast-on alloy base and a plastic cylinder that forms the screw channel. The plastic cylinder will be incorporated into the pattern and leave no residues after burn-out. The minimal height of VARIO abutments provide restorative flexibility, especially in limited spaces. The plastic cylinder is easy to shorten to the desired height, which guarantees precise, simple, and rapid pattern fabrication.
For all those who would rather not work with high-gold content, castable materials, but are looking for cost-effective solutions on an adhesive basis, the VARIOeco is a good alternative.
The 17° angled VARIO abutments are ideally suited for occlusal screw-retained single or multiple unit restorations where implants have been placed with pronounced angulation to the planned prosthetics.
The abutments are available with two different rotational orientations of the cone with respect to the hexagon to allow optimal alignment of the abutment. The prefabricated gold alloy screw seat ensures a precise connection between the finished crown or bridge and abutment.
VARIOmulti Abutments offer the perfect solution for the fabrication of implant supported multi-unit, occlusal screw-retained bridge restorations.
Through the combination of straight and angled VARIOmulti Abutments, a restoration is possible in terms of an All-on 4® concept.
The prosthetics line offers a complete range of tertiary parts (impression coping, protective coping, temporary cap, etc.), which permit an efficient restoration at the abutment level.
ART abutments are available in two basic designs, which provide an optimal combination of ease-of-use and customizing options to suit the exact conditions of the patient:
• ART Abutment: compatible with prefabricated SPI®EASY Abutment components for impression taking and temporary restoration for efficient restoration with ART Abutments.
• ART Grinding Abutment: provides a greater volume of material for creating fully customized abutments.
